Lousso Designs is proud to showcase this unique contemporary chair, brought to life in collaboration with the talented Liz Roache. This stunning piece features fabric created from Liz’s own artwork, transforming the chair into a true work of art. Liz, a renowned artist and designer, draws inspiration from the Bauhaus principles to challenge simplicity and turn it into something extraordinary. The fabric, “The Potential of the Rectangle No. 1,” is part of her innovative Bauhaus study, which she created using cut paper as part of a course she teaches called Bauhaus: Two Dimensional Design.

Each of the 13 individual cuts from one rectangle is thoughtfully arranged, showcasing the powerful dynamics of positive and negative space, bringing out the full potential of an otherwise simple form. This striking fabric now adorns this contemporary chair, creating a vibrant focal point that not only complements Liz’s showroom but also brings her artistic vision to life in furniture form.
